You know the summer is well and truly over when you hear mention of Scór but believe it or not it is that time of the year again when entries are requested for this season’s competitions. Most urgently required are the entries for Scór na nÓg as the county semi-finals take place on November 2nd.There are a few changes to the format this year, notably the Quiz and the Novelty Act, but the usual categories remain unchanged ie. Solo Singing, Recitation/Storytelling, Ballad Group, Céilí Dancing, Instrumental Music, and Set Dancing.
Anyone wishing to take part in Scór na nÓg this year or if you require further details, should contact Cormac O’Loan immediately as entries are now being taken.
Entrants for Scór na nÓg must be Under 17 on January 1st 2014.

Scór Sinsear is coming up early in the new year so anyone considering getting involved should start their preparations right away. Remember, participation in Scór is a vital component of the GAA Club Maith scheme so it is most important that our club take part.
