Con Magees have 2 events planned for September and October to continue raising much needed funds for the current pitch regeneration program. Although we have secured a certain amount of funding for the works we still need to raise a sizeable amount ourselves through our own fundraising efforts, so YOUR SUPPORT AS A CLUB MEMBER IS VITAL!
On Saturday 28th of Sept we have the fantastic band, The Rapparees, coming to the club to perform a concert in support of their new album, Re:Session. The band are hugely popular throughout Ireland and Europe and will no doubt put on a brilliant show which is not to be missed! Tickets can be booked with Cormac Scullion, Gerard Carey or Kieran McKinley and are priced at £10. Tickets can also be bought from the Community Complex reception, Cargan shop and Martinstown Off Licence.
Friday 25th of Oct sees the return of the ever popular Night at the Races in the club. With full bookie facilities and a big finale planned it's sure to be a great nights craic. Come and have a punt on a donkey or 2 and see how you get on! Horses are on sale now for £10 and are available from all senior hurlers, footballers, camogiers and club executive members. Race sponsorship is available for £50 and booklet ads are priced at £20.
We hope to see a big crowd on both nights.
