Building Complete!
 
The Open Day on Sunday 4th October at the new complex was a fantastic success. Over 800 visitors took the opportunity to look around the new facilities. Everyone appeared to be really impressed with the design and layout of the new building. The Fitness Suite, Steam Room and Function Room caught most peoples' attention with the high quality of equipment and finishing. We were blessed with good weather which further enhanced the splendid views from the function room balcony. The GCDA Committee would like to thank everyone for attending the Open Day and for their very positive feedback on the new complex.

On Friday 9th October the Official Opening of the new complex will take place, with representatives of the various Funding Groups ( Sport NI, Ballymena Borough Council and Ulster Council GAA) in attendance. All of the local User Groups will also be represented at the event. The press will be in attendance and there will be coverage of the event in the local newspapers. It will be an opportunity for the GCDA to thank the various organisations, sports groups and individuals for their contribution over the course of the last 8 years in bringing the project to fruition.
