3 Jun 2018We made hard work of this league game against Portglenone on Sunday evening, but with a little more grit and determination in the second half we drove forward for a victory. We started well opening with a goal followed by a point, but unfortunately that was our last score despite numerous opportunities going forward. Portglenone came at us to convert 1-3 bringing the halftime score 1-3 to 1-1. In the second half we upped the anti and some fine scores were taken as the home team failed to regularly get past the halfback line which resulted in no further scores for Portglenone. Again going forward our picking, catching, hooking and striking needs to be faster and sharper. So with no training this week because of exams - there is an opportunity for ideal stress relief from study hitting the ball against the wall, benefiting both camogie skills and healthy study. Good luck with the exams girls.
