Outstanding result for the Senior Camogs in the first round of the Championship in defeating a very good St Pauls side by 2-14 to 2-05 . Everyone played their part including the subs and the sizeable travelling support.
Just a little mention for Ellen and Kirsten the two youngest players on the pitch and definitely not overwhelmed by their debut for the Seniors in the Championship !
Well Done good luck in the next round

Best of luck to our Senior Camogs who kick off their 2016 Championship Campaign with a difficult away fixture at St Pauls on Tuesday (9th) evening.
It would be great to see a huge Glenravel crowd make the effort and travel down to Belfast to support these girls , they very much deserve it.

U16 County Camogie - Antrim 6-6 Meath 2-9
Bridini Oga players Kirsten and Ellen both helped the Antrim u16's progress into the semi- finals of the ALL IRELAND Camogie Championship with an incredible win over a much fancied Meath side .
Kirsten having just recovered from an ankle injury picked up during the previous weeks county game v Laois played an outstanding match in midfield dominating the play , not only providing quality ball for the forward line but also picking up a personal score tally of 1gl and 5pts.
Ellen playing at wing half back also featured well in the game and totally outclassed the Meath forward line in the second half limiting their tally to only a handful of scores.
Congratulations to both girls and good luck next Sunday

Glenravel missing ten of the senior panel through injury, holidays ,etc battled hard for the sixty minutes but lost in the end by four points 2-15 to 2-11 to Dunloy last night[wednesday] n Pearse Park. Only a point seperated the sides with 13 minutes to go in the second half but the home team added goals to seal victory.

This year for your camogiers has been brilliant so far you have had our first two all stars in the club, the camogiers from glenravel make a huge impact within the county matches and their vital matches. The seniors beat St.Johns last Thursday night who were top of the table and are therefore now joint top of the table. Three of our camogiers are also representing Antrim in an intermediate championship match on Friday night. Overall I believe that the camogiers are the one of the most successful teams in your club at the moment and that they deserve the support in their upcoming matches and championship. You have a very talented team in glenravel and they deserve the support as they are catching the eye of several teams in the county.
