Congratulations to the club members who pulled out all the stops at the weekend to put together a great programme of events for Feis na nGleann. The on-field action may have lacked intensity in that most of the games were one-sided, but the whole organisation was top-class. So well done to those who co-ordinated and pulled everything together Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Just wondering when the list of fixtures for the feis weekend will be put up?
We're all waiting patiently for that one Micky. Have been for several weeks now! Other clubs are sending us emails asking about the fixtures as well. I guess we'll find out sometime!

Have you seen the "Friends of Glenravel" video yet? You can access it on the website.
It is a superb production, capturing everything which the GAA club stands for. A big Thank You to Aodh O'Loan for all his work in compiling the video - it really is something special!
With 2016 being our Centenary year, there is a re-launch of the "Friends of Glenravel" initiative aimed at encouraging more people to join. The video and leaflet illustrate how the club has developed over the years and sets out some of our future plans. The current members of "Friends of Glenravel " play an invaluable role in contributing to the day-to-day running of the Sports & Community Complex. New members will help to secure the future sustainability of the GAA club and our fantastic complex.
Please support this initiative.

Just wanted to wish Kirsten the very best of luck this weekend too. She will be Bridini Oga’s sole representative for the Antrim U16 team as they open their busy season with a tough match against Down.
Kirsten has been training since March with this squad and has been rewarded with the vice-captain role ........hopefully a sign of things to come for club and county.

Totally agree with all the sentiments below .
A lot of these girls play U16 Camogie too just to add to their already hectic schedule and we are totally aware of how committed and what talented athletes they are.
Best of luck to all , play well , enjoy the experience and bring home the silverware .........

Good luck to Paul, Damian, the rest of management and the girls themselves as they set off on a journey of a life-time this weekend.
Having worked with most of the team over the past two years, I understand their ability and potential, as well as their capacity to really enjoy themselves. We had a great time last Saturday, applied ourselves and won the Shield. Then we enjoyed the trip home with the Macarena etc to pass the journey.
Girls, it's a long journey down to Limerick. Make it count and the journey home (with a Cup) will be very short indeed.
Winners never quit, quitters never win

As we came in for the match last night Curly was taking pics of players on county teams. I never realised how many we have on county teams this year. Can anyone give me an exact number? How many are on county hurling teams? Just thinking about it last night. Gives the club some lift when you think of all those young playersare coming through. Well done everyone (yes especially the coaches).
One of the reasons for taking the photo was to highlight the numbers we have selected for County. There were several missing last night as well given exams etc. In total we have 46 players representing Antrim from U14 to U18. The break down is as follows
14 Ladies Football
17 Camogie
10 Football
5 Hurling
Also Seamas McAleenan has had a very successful year coaching the County Minor Camogie team.
